Exceptional Tool For Non-profits!

Having been a volunteer in non-profits for over 40-years and having been the director of a non-profit for the past 34-years...I feel this is a must read. It is clear and concise, answering many of the questions that arise in a non-profit. The author, Ruth Ellen Kinzey, took our new non-profit in the 70s from nothing, to a household name. She not only talks the talk, but she has walked the walk...and has done an exceptional job. She took our non-profit, from a fledgling entity raising less than $100,000/year, to a multi-million dollar operation. She is exceptional, and this book captures in an organized step-by-step series, how it is done. A great reference...even for those of us that have been in the profession for decades. Wish this was around when I was just starting!

I found this newest book (and her previous publications) an excellent resource for all levels and experience in non-profit management. Ruth Kinzey helps you work through and consider important challenges that impact critical components for a nonprofit’s reputation, such as strategic planning, engagement, and crisis management. I found the work sheets and interviews with industry experts that were included in the book interesting and helpful. This book is well organized and easy to follow.
